She is presently serving as a Patron of RMS. Wife of Shri. Aditya Birla, the renowned Industrialist, she has taken up philanthropic work as a passion. Among other awards she received Padma Vibhusan award for her exemplary work in social sector.
She is associated with FTS since 1990. Kolkata Mahila Samiti was formed in the year 1990 by her initiative. The formation of RMS was her vision. She was the first President of RMS and served from 2011 to 2017; presently she is serving as a Patron of RMS.
She belongs to the family of social awareness. Having been exposed to the working of FTS through a Vanyatra, she was committed to the cause and has been associated wih Ekal for more than 27 years.
She is the National President of FTS, Rashtriya Mahila Samiti. Her association with FTS is since the inception of Chennai Chapter in the year 2006. She served as the National Treasurer of RMS from 2011 to 2017 and as its Secretary from 2017 to 2019.
She was the Vice President of RMS from 2011-16 and West Zone Chairperson till 2017 and the National treasurer from 2017-19. Currently she is the Joint Organising Secretary of RMS and Organising Secretary in Mumbai Chapter.
She Joined FTS in the year 2004. She was zonal secretary of RMS from 2011-2017 and Chairperson of East Zone since 2017. She is also serving as East Zone Chairperson in Kolkata Executive Committee.
She is the Secretary of RMS. Associated with Indore chapter since its inception in 2009 and was its founder secretary. She served as the zonal secretary of RMS from 2011-2017. She was zonal chairperson from 2017-2019 and alsp the joint secretary in governing board from 2017-2019. She is joint secretary of Indore chapter also.
She is associated with FTS- Agra Mahila Samiti since 2007 and served as its president from 2015 and 2016.
She was the Joint Secretary of North Zone of RMS from 2017-2019. Currently she is the Chairperson of North Zone.
