Ekal Vidyalaya held a Programme at Eklavya Swavalamban Trust – Gramotthan Resource Centre (GRC), Gargaon, Wada, on 15th January 2018 to distribute tablets for Ekal Vidyalaya in Gargaon Sanch in Maharashtra.
The Programme began with lighting the lamp. Shri Vivek Karvirji introduced the guests Shri Jagannath Patil, Upa Sabhapati of Panchayat Samiti of Wada, Smt. Meghna Mangesh Patil, Sadasya Panchayat Samiti, Wada, Shri Ramchandra Sawant Member Vikas Bharati, BARC Tarapur & Homi Bhabha Vidyalaya, Shri Dilip Vinayak Patil, NPCIL, Mahesh Murli Adhyaksha Vikas Bharati, Bharat Wadekar Anchal Adhyaksh, Kondu Jadhav Anchal Sadasya, Mahesh Mistry and Dilip Patil.
The Coordinator Shri Pravin Bhoir and Shri Kashinath Kirkire submitted the list of 30 Teachers who were present. Each of the guests then distributed 4 Tablets to individual Teachers – one for the Teacher and three for the students of the school. All the Guests emphasised the importance of going Digital. A new chapter has begun in the Ekal Vidyalaya of digital teaching and learning. Tribals have been taken into the Digital age to be at par with the students of the cities without leaving their homes.
Shri Amit Patil showed the guests, the Kendra’s activities, the Gaushala, Rain Water Harvesting Pond and Farming area.
